About this event
Third Thursday is a monthly poetry program presented by Poetry Center San José in partnership with the Willow Glen Public Library and hosted by Brandon Luu! Sign up for the open mic begins at 6:30pm. Open mic begins shortly after 7pm. Featured poet performs after 7–8 poets in the open mic, followed by an intermission. Sharing snacks is emphatically welcomed! (via Poetry Center San José)

Chris Locsin is an emcee, poet, and arts advocate with over 20 years of experience. He has performed across the US and Canada and competed in four national poetry slams. A graduate of the Multicultural Arts Leadership Initiative, he produced Slam and Rice, an AAPI spoken word event, and serves on the board of Chopsticks Alley Art. His writing centers on family, culture, and his AAPI mixed background.
